Ronald D. Jackson was born and raised in the black belt of Alabama.  After serving as a law clerk and being mentored by the Honorable Judge Houston L. Brown from 2008 to 2010, Ronald began his legal career as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Birmingham as a litigator and trial attorney in 2011.

Attorney Jackson founded his own practice in 2018, R.D. Jackson Law Office LLC, as it currently exists.  Throughout Ronald’s life, he’s been very athletic and adventurous, and he was able to utilize his abilities while serving his country in the United States Army Reserves for 8 years.  While in the US Army Reserves, Ronald received several medals and honors for his service during his tour of duty in the Enduring Iraqi Freedom War.  Attorney Jackson enjoys outdoor/indoor recreational sports and is an active contributor and investor in the local community youth development sports league.

Ronald received his J.D. in 2010 from Miles College School of Law.  While at Miles College School of Law, he served as a law clerk for Circuit Court Judge Houston L. Brown for two years.  Ronald graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2002 and received his B.S. in Criminal Justice and Minor in Social Work.
